The Mubadala-ERWDA building is located near the Ministry of Information and Culture in Abu Dhabi.
Reflective of its position as a state of the art building, it is the new headquarters of, among others, the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi (formerly ERWDA).
This building demonstrates that the highest standards of architecture, design and construction are now a pre-requisite for property development in the Abu Dhabi real estate market.
A key feature of Mubadala-ERWDA building is its impressive Arabesque heritage style entrance, that features an indoor garden and provides a spectacular welcome to the building.
The working environment is complemented by support facilities including a health club, restaurant, nursery, shops, 150-seat auditorium for conferences, seminars, training, a library and prayer rooms.
High quality materials were required for this facility, so the architects selected Italian ceramic tiles as Workshop (LEED complient ), Marmi, Slate, Area, by Mirage. All these series are Ecolabelled, as demonstration of Mirage compliance with specific environmental criteria throughout the entire production cycle and product lifecycle, as, among others: a high level of recycling of solid waste (>95%), low environmental impact production process, drastic reductions of emissions into the atmosphere for material handling.
