Fr.og Restaurant serves French cuisine in an atmosphere suggestive of Morocco, in an innovative and modern design. Located in Soho (NYC), it attracts a young, hip crowd appreciative of the sensual atmosphere of this restaurant which has lots to offer also in terms of design.
The bathroom decorated using Bisazza tiles, is very consistent with the look and mood of the dining room. There is a sense of informality with the large communal sink made of Thassos-style artificial marble slabs. The walls of the communal area are tiled with white Bisazza but in a pattern that subtly echoes the sand dunes of the Sahara. The tile starts at the floor and creates a sand wave pattern which continues as far as the painted walls.
The walls of all the individual toilet cabins are also tiled in this manner with the painted colour of the walls in varying shades of sand, pink, yellow and blue. This bathroom was named the Best Bathroom in the 2008 Hospitality Design Award.
